Your 2028 entry guide

Preparation, assessment, then school entry.

Official information checked: 15 September 2026

The NSW Education application and test pages checked still show the 2027-entry cycle. We have not found a confirmed 2028-entry timetable there. This is a planning guide based on the current year-level pathway, not an official schedule.

  1. 2026

    Build the foundations

Currently Year 3. CamLoc preparation is planned for Term 4; exact class days and times are to be confirmed.

  2. 2027

    Expected assessment year

Moving into Year 4. Under the current year-level pathway, assessment is expected in the year before entry. Exact dates await official confirmation.

  3. 2028

    The school-entry year

Successful applicants enter Year 5. This is the target school-entry year, not the start of CamLoc preparation.

Watch for applications early: the current process begins towards the end of Year 3 (OC) or Year 5 (Selective). Monitor official notices from 2026 rather than waiting for the test year. Opening and closing dates for 2028 entry still need official confirmation.

Enrolling with CamLoc does not lodge a NSW school application. Parents must apply separately through NSW Education and check eligibility and current requirements. Official application process (opens a new tab)

Before you register

Does this register my child for the school placement test?

No. This is an expression of interest in CamLoc teaching. Parents must separately complete the official NSW school application (opens a new tab).

How does the platform support the teacher?

It supports practice, mock testing and review of student performance. Teachers use this alongside classroom observations to guide explanations and feedback. It complements teaching rather than replacing it.

What if my child is in a different year?

This intake is designed for Year 3 students in 2026. Tell us your child’s current year and goals so we can discuss a suitable pathway rather than assuming this cohort is the right fit.

How do I confirm fees and the timetable?

Register your interest first. We will discuss the final enrolment information and schedule when confirmed. No payment is collected on this page.
